Job Description: Instrumentation & Electrical Maintenance

Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Instrumentation & Electrical Maintenance Technician for a company based in North Houston, TX. In this position, you will service, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain critical components such as control panels, PLCs, drives, and sensors, which are essential for keeping automated systems operational.

Pay Rate: $28-35/hour (or more depending on experience)

Schedule and Hours: Monday – Saturday (7am-7pm)

Responsibilities

• Interpret technical documents, including schematics, OEM manuals, P&IDs, and job instructions.
• Install, repair, and maintain automation and electrical components and systems.
• Execute projects and tasks independently or collaboratively, ensuring efficiency and safety.
• Adhere to safety protocols and comply with electrical codes.
• Perform quality assurance inspections to uphold operational standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical and control systems maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and regulations.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents and schematics.
• Physically capable of handling demanding tasks and lifting at least 50 lbs.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
• Background check and drug screening required.
