Job Description

Instrumentation & Electrical Maintenance Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Instrumentation & Electrical Maintenance Technician for a company based in North Houston, TX. In this position you will be involved in servicing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining critical components like control panels, PLCs, drives, and sensors—all of which are essential for keeping automated systems running smoothly. Pay Rate $28-35/hour (or more depending on experience) Schedule and Hours Monday – Saturday (7am-7pm) Instrumentation & Electrical Maintenance Duties and Responsibilities • For this position our candidate should have the ability to interpret technical documents, including schematics, OEM manuals, P&IDs, and job instructions. Compliance with all applicable statutory codes is essential. Success in this role is measured by consistently completing assigned tasks, minimizing unplanned equipment downtime, and effectively carrying out preventative maintenance. • Install, repair, and maintain automation and electrical components and systems. • Execute projects and assigned tasks independently or collaboratively, ensuring efficiency and safety. • Adhere to safety protocols and comply with all relevant electrical codes. • Accurately interpret technical documents to ensure precise execution of assignments. • Perform quality assurance inspections to uphold operational standards. Instrumentation & Electrical Maintenance Qualifications and Requirements • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting electrical and control systems, including control panels, PLCs, drives, and sensors. • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of relevant electrical codes and regulations. • Documentation Skills: Proficient in reading, interpreting, and utilizing technical documents and schematics. • Physical Requirements: Must be capable of handling physically demanding tasks and able to lift at least 50 lbs. • Work Ethic: A self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to responsibilities. • 10 panel drug screen (required) • Background check (required) Job Type
