Job summary

An award-winning automation systems integrator seeks experienced Instrumentation Technicians in Detroit. Responsibilities include reading schematics, calibrating instrumentation, and maintaining control systems across a variety of industrial processes. Ideal candidates are self-motivated with relevant technical experience and a willingness to travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Experience with installing and maintaining automation systems.
• Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs & SCADA systems (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens).
• CCST and Fiber Optic certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and calibrating control systems.
• Preventative and corrective maintenance on instrumentation.
• Working at customer sites and willingness to travel.

• Able to read & interpret schematics, drawings as well as comprehension of electricity & circuits
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience
• Troubleshooting & calibrating controlsystems
• Calibrating instrumentation
• Set up instrumentation & calibrate using meters & tools
• Preventative & corrective maintenance
• Experience with install and maintenance projects in the automation of industrial processes
• Testing functions
• Experience working withPLC's, HMI's & SCADA systemsincludingRockwell/Allen Bradley, Wonderware, Siemens, GE Fanuc, Emerson DeltaV, Schneider Electric and/or Modicon
• Troubleshoot I/O's
  
• Oil & Gas(Midstream preferred), Water/Wastewater, Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, Cogen Plants, Combined Cooling Heat and Power, Data Centers, Packaging &Process Controls experience
• Experience working in the field at customer sites
• Willingness to travel to customer sites
• CCST and Fiber Optic certifications a plus
• Ability to work well independently
