Job summary

Global Edge Group seeks a discipline engineer to evaluate internal and contractor work for compliance with project specs, standards, and regulatory requirements. The role emphasizes clear communication, coordination, and timely delivery of discipline engineering tasks.

The candidate should have up-to-date knowledge of electrical/instrumentation design practices, be able to engage with field activities, and support operations and small projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Broad knowledge of discipline design standards, codes and safety criteria.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and shifting priorities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Read, write and speak fluent English in technical/business contexts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and comment on discipline engineering work by internal teams and contractors.
• Facilitate discipline engineering design routines aligned with project goals and procedures.
• Coordinate communication across Project Team and Company functions on progress and issues.
