Job summary

ISC Constructors, L.L.C. is seeking a Field Engineer to assist senior designers and engineers on electrical, instrumentation and controls projects. You will interpret project documents, support field procurement, and help coordinate field activities with home office and subcontractors.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to codes, and timely completion within budget. Candidates should have 6 months to 1 year hands-on field experience in mission critical electrical environments and strong

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent with field experience in a related area.
Approximately six (6) months to one (1) year hands-on field experience in the Mission Critical Electrical industry.
Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications and contract language.
Strong verbal and written communication and technical translation.
Proficient knowledge of Primavera, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, and Vista.

Responsibilities

Acquire understanding of project documentation to adhere to contract requirements.
Observe construction practices for compliance with codes and standards.
Coordinate with internal and external teams per policies and direction.
Gather documents to support completion of construction activities.
Study project specifications and contract requirements.
Promote safe work practices.
Represent project in meetings as required.
Complete assignments on time and within budget.
Make computations, analyze results, and record data from sources.
Inspect equipment and work to ensure compliance.
Communicate and solve problems effectively.
