Job summary
Barry-Wehmiller's BW Design Group seeks an experienced Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to develop control system designs for industrial facilities. You will collaborate with leaders, technicians, and subject-matter experts across our 1,500+ professionals in 45 offices to deliver projects on time and to the highest standards.

Qualifications
- 5+ years in control systems documentation and engineering design.
- Experience with instrumentation, control logic, PLC/SCADA/DCS.
- Ability to travel for project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop instrument specifications and control system designs for industrial facilities
- Design instrumentation and control systems for industrial projects
- Create specifications and calculations for flow meters and analyzers
- Perform control system studies and troubleshoot existing control systems
- Develop conceptual designs and retrofit solutions for new and existing control systems
- Prepare detailed instrument specifications, selections, logic diagrams, loop sheets, instrument lists, I/O lists, and instrumentation plans
- Lead instrumentation and controls engineering on multidisciplinary projects
- Provide field support, including on-site design, commissioning, and construction management
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines to meet project requirements
- Train and mentor junior instrumentation and controls designers
