The Callaway Energy Center in Missouri, operated by Ameren Missouri, seeks a Supervisory Instrument & Control professional to lead calibration, testing, and maintenance of I&C systems. You will supervise technicians during outages, ensure QA-compliant documentation, and coordinate planning with maintenance leadership.
Five+ years in Instrumentation & Controls, plus a engineering degree with instrumentation emphasis, are preferred.

The Supervisor Instrument & Control directs the work of skilled personnel in work tasks and/or support activities for the maintenance, replacement, installation and removal of equipment in the power plant and associated structures to assure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted operation.
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in instrumentation from an accredited institution preferred. Five or more years experience in Instrumentation and Controls required. Nuclear power plant Operations or I&C experience preferred. Experience as a Training Instructor preferred.
Good decision making, leadership, communication and human relations skills required. After preliminary review, selected applicants must take the First Line Supervisor Test and obtain a recommended status in order to be eligible for additional selection procedures (e.g., interview) designated for this position. Qualified candidates are required to establish and maintain their permanent residence within sixty highway miles of the Callaway Energy Center. Security screening required for Callaway Energy Center access.
The Maintenance Supervisor works a standard day or evening shift in an office/plant environment. Additional hours, callouts and/or rotating shifts may be required during refueling outages and emergent plant activities as the needs arise.
Ameren’s selection process includes a series of interviews and may include a leadership assessment process. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates.
$105,100.00 - $162,900.00
At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
