Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC is seeking an on-site electrical/instrumentation design engineer for our Tulsa, OK or Fayetteville, AR projects. The role focuses on delivering detailed design documents and ensuring compliance with applicable codes for onshore Oil & Gas facilities.

You will collaborate with disciplines, review documents for accuracy, support budgeting, and help manage project costs while maintaining safety and performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical and instrumentation design documents, layouts, 3D models and calculations for onshore Oil & Gas Projects.
• Ensure compliance with project scope, customer specifications, local, state, national electrical codes and regulations
• Generate and design IO load lists, cable lists, cable routes, earthing/grounding plans, junction box layout and wiring drawings, instrument location drawings, loop drawings, cable tray/conduit sizing design and routing, hazardous location drawings, MTO/BOM and other essential design documents.
• Ensure that all electrical equipment meets safety and performance specifications
• Review, verify and update design documents to ensure accuracy, constructability and compliance with project standards, codes and client requirements.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, customers, and facility management
• Assist in budget planning for electrical projects and ongoing maintenance
• Monitor expenses and ensure projects are completed within budget limitations
