Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC seeks an on-site Electrical Design Engineer in Tulsa, OK to develop detailed electrical and instrumentation designs for onshore Oil & Gas projects. You will create layouts, 3D models, load lists, cable routes, and grounding plans while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and client specifications.

Collaboration with multiple disciplines is essential. Responsibilities include updating design documents for accuracy, supporting budgeting, and monitoring project

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical and instrumentation design documents, layouts, 3D models and calculations for onshore Oil & Gas Projects.
• Ensure compliance with project scope, customer specifications, local, state, national electrical codes and regulations
• Generate and design IO load lists, cable lists, cable routes, earthing/grounding plans, junction box layout and wiring drawings, instrument location drawings, loop drawings, cable tray/ conduit sizing design and routing, hazardous location drawings, MTO/BOM and other essential design documents.
• Ensure that all electrical equipment meets safety and performance specifications
• Review, verify and update design documents to ensure accuracy, constructability and compliance with project standards, codes and client requirements.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, customers, and facility management
• Assist in budget planning for electrical projects and ongoing maintenance
• Monitor expenses and ensure projects are completed within budget limitations
