Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a hands-on Lab/Test Supervisor to lead transformer testing and calibration activities in a dedicated lab environment in the United States. You will ensure adherence to IEEE/IEC standards while guiding a team of technicians and coordinating with Sales, Project Management, and R&D on custom testing needs.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, data integrity, and process standardization to improve lab performance and compliance with ISO9001 programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5 years of transformer testing experience.
• Experience with ISO9001 calibration programs and validating high-voltage test results.
• Familiarity with LIMS or SAP QM modules and trending test data.
• Experience with Omicron, Megger, or Tettex test systems.

Responsibilities

• Test and calibrate instrument transformers to industry standards.
• Lead lab safety initiatives and training programs.
• Oversee daily lab operations including scheduling and payroll.
• Serve as primary technical resource for lab technicians.
• Coordinate with Sales, PM, and R&D on testing requirements.
