Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Mechanical Lab Test Engineer in the United States to lead laboratory testing, data acquisition, and validation activities for products and services. You will design and build test facilities and instrumentation, develop test software, and support customers throughout testing lifecycle.

Preferred candidates have a Bachelor’s in engineering or technical field with 2 years of experience in a mechanical test environment, or a HS diploma with 5 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to document, plan and execute test programs.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field with 2 years in mechanical testing OR HS diploma with 5 years in mechanical testing.

Responsibilities

• Execute laboratory testing, inspection and data acquisition for validation of products and services.
• Design and construct test facilities, instrumentation systems and test software.
• Broaden knowledge of the technical discipline to support policy/strategy.
• Lead junior team and develop customer relationships for GE Vernova.
• Manage testing from initial discussions with engineering to data system and test rig assembly.
