Job summary

Diamond Infrastructure Solutions seeks an Instrument Technician in Plaquemine, LA. The role provides maintenance support for plants, ensuring reliability and performance of instruments and controls.

You will diagnose issues, perform calibrations, and coordinate parts and scheduling within established work processes. The position expects 5+ years in industrial Instrument Tech or 2-year degree with NCCER certification and a valid TWIC.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 2-year mechanical/instrument craft degree or NCCER Instrument Tech certification.
• 3+ years military experience or 5+ years industrial Instrument Tech experience.
• Valid US driver’s license and TWIC card (or eligible to obtain TWIC).
• US work authorization; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and correct equipment problems.
• Complete preventative maintenance activities.
• Set up, calibrate and repair controls and instruments across pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Coordinate spare parts and repair activities with planning and operations.
• Troubleshoot and document failure analysis to improve reliability.
