Job summary

Dominion Energy seeks an Instrument Technician I or II to support LNG instrumentation, calibration, and control systems. The role covers installation, testing, and troubleshooting of process measurement devices, valves, analyzers, and safety-critical equipment.

You will document maintenance activities, train junior staff, and coordinate with multiple teams to ensure reliable operation and compliance across LNG facilities.

Qualifications

• High School/GED minimum education.
• Instrument Technician I requires an Associate’s degree with 0–2+ years of experience or HS with 2+ years industrial experience.
• Instrument Technician II requires an Associate’s degree with 3+ years practical experience or HS with 5+ years industrial experience.
• Ability to read instrumentation diagrams and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, service, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and install control instruments in LNG operations.
• Maintain flow meters, transmitters, valves, analyzers, and safety systems.
• Identify root causes and report findings to supervisor.
• Use diagnostic tools and test equipment to verify readings and performance.
• Document maintenance activities and compliance data.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.
