Community Health Network in Indianapolis is looking for an Instrument Technician to coordinate the decontamination and sterile processing of instrumentation in the operating room. You will work closely with Operating Room personnel in a team environment to ensure effective and efficient operations.
You must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, with certification preferred or required within one year of hire. The role involves maintaining communication with staff and managing instrument status in an emergency situation.

Under the direction of the Surgical Services Leadership Team, this position coordinates decontamination and sterile processing of all instrumentation and non-sterile supplies in the operating room setting. Will work with other Operating Room personnel in a team focused, effective and efficient manner to accomplish the responsibilities of the decontamination/sterile processing area. Will be responsible for the care and maintenance of all instrumentation. Will practice effective customer service by demonstrating an attitude of service and responsiveness toward co-workers, physicians and vendors; acting in a professional manner while maintaining confidentiality of information.
