Community Health Network is seeking an Instrument Technician to join our Operating Room team in Indiana. You will coordinate decontamination and sterile processing of all instrumentation and non-sterile supplies to ensure instruments are ready for scheduled procedures and emergencies.
You will train staff, assemble instrument sets, monitor sterilization cycles, and maintain records of biologicals and recalls.

Under the direction of the Surgical Services Leadership Team, this position coordinates decontamination and sterile processing of all instrumentation and non-sterile supplies in the operating room setting. Will work with other Operating Room personnel in a team focused, effective and efficient manner to accomplish the responsibilities of the decontamination/sterile processing area. Will be responsible for the care and maintenance of all instrumentation. Will practice effective customer service by demonstrating an attitude of service and responsiveness toward co-workers, physicians and vendors; acting in a professional manner while maintaining confidentiality of information.
