Job summary

bioMérieux in Utah is seeking a swing shift technician for troubleshooting and repair of clinical and commercial products. You will operate electrical and mechanical test equipment and work on assemblies with guidance.

This role requires following detailed instructions, collaborating with Engineering/Production to improve designs and processes, and maintaining regulatory records. Strong reading of drawings and attention to quality are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of applicable technical experience with troubleshooting and repairing in related fields.
• Soldering and multimeter experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow written work instructions and collect all relevant data.
• Work with Engineering/Production to implement design and/or process improvements
• Maintain records that comply with regulatory requirements, GMP and SOPs
• Consult with customer service, instrument production, etc. as needed
• Responsible for maintaining parts and materials in service area
• Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
