Job summary

bioMérieux seeks an Instrument Repair Technician for Salt Lake City, Utah. Swing shift 2:30 PM–12:00 AM to troubleshoot and repair clinical and commercial products, using electrical and mechanical test equipment.

You will work with engineering and production to implement improvements and ensure GMP/SOP compliance. Primary duties include data collection, documentation, and cross-functional communication to resolve issues and maintain service areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1+ year related technical experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical or mechanical systems.
• Preferred: associate degree and soldering skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair clinical and commercial products; operate test equipment.
• Follow written work instructions and collect relevant data.
• Maintain records to comply with GMP and SOP requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering/production to implement improvements.
• Adhere to company quality procedures and standards.
