Job summary

bioMérieux in West Jordan, UT is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair clinical and commercial products. The role operates electrical and mechanical test equipment and performs a variety of electro-mechanical operations on assemblies, following written work instructions and data collection.

You will work with Engineering/Production on improvements, maintain regulatory records, and coordinate with customer service as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of applicable technical experience with troubleshooting and repair in a related field such as electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, computer, automotive, etc.

Responsibilities

• Follow written work instructions and collect all relevant data.
• Work with Engineering/Production to implement design and/or process improvements.
• Maintains records that comply with regulatory requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Consults with customer service, instrument production, etc. as needed.
• Responsible for maintaining parts and materials in service area.
• Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
