Job summary

Music & Arts, now part of the Guitar Center family, is seeking an instrument technician to repair musical instruments promptly and to a high standard in our Maryland area. You may specialize in one type of instrument or work across brass, woodwind, percussion and orchestral instruments.

Responsibilities include repairing rental returns efficiently, following quality guidelines, and maintaining production records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Apprenticeship or repair school diploma required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
• 2 years of relevant work experience repairing musical instruments.
• Skilled in brass/woodwind/percussion/orchestral instrument repair.

Responsibilities

• Repair and service musical instruments in a timely and proficient manner.
• Repair instruments according to established quality guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records for production reporting.
• Other duties as assigned.
