Job summary

Music & Arts seeks an instrument repair technician to service brass and woodwind instruments and other orchestral gear. You will repair rental instruments and ensure timely completion while maintaining production records and quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited repair program, plus English proficiency and ability to use standard repair shop tools in a busy shop environment.

The purpose of this job is to repair musical instruments in a timely and proficient manner so that the instrument is returned in good playing order. A technician can specialize in one type of instrument, or work on multiple types. Brass and Woodwind specialty preferred.

About Music & Arts

The first Music & Arts was located in a small house in Bethesda, MD and run by founder Benjamin O'Brien. When Music & Arts opened its doors in 1952, we offered printed music, music lessons, dance lessons, and art supplies. To join our band, you'll need the following experience:
