Job summary

Music & Arts seeks an instrument technician to repair rental and performance instruments in a timely, proficient manner. Brass and woodwind specialization is preferred, though multi-instrument skills are welcome.

Must read, write and speak English, operate standard repair tools, and keep accurate production records. At least 2 years of hands-on instrument repair experience is expected, with emphasis on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED.
• Apprenticeship or repair school diploma required.
• Must read, write, speak and comprehend English.
• Must be able to use standard repair shop tooling and equipment.
• 2 years of relevant instrument repair experience.
• Skill in repairing brass/woodwind/orchestral instruments.

Responsibilities

• Works on rental returned instruments in an efficient & timely manner.
• Ensures each instrument is repaired according to established quality guidelines.
• Maintains accurate records for production reporting.
• Additional duties as assigned.
