Job summary

Music & Arts, now part of Guitar Center, is seeking an instrument repair technician to repair brass, woodwind, percussion and orchestral instruments in a timely, proficient manner, returning instruments to good playing order. You may specialize or work on multiple types; a brass/woodwind focus is preferred.

Requirements include high school diploma or GED, apprenticeship or repair school diploma, ability to read and write in English, and 2 years daily instrument repair experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Apprenticeship or a diploma for an accredited repair school required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Repair musical instruments (brass, woodwind, percussion, orchestral) in a timely, quality-focused manner.
• Maintain accurate records for production reporting.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
