Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an Instrument Coordinator in the Sterile Processing Department to organize workflow, decontaminate, assemble, and sterilise surgical instruments and related equipment for the Operating Rooms and other units. You will ensure compliance with CRCST/CBSPD standards and mentor new staff.

The role requires strong organizational and leadership abilities. Four or more years in sterile processing and familiarity with EPIC/CSIQ/SPM systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CRCST or CBSPD certification required.
• 4+ years of sterile processing experience.
• EPIC/CSIQ/SPM knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize instrument decontamination, assembly, sterilisation and case picking.
• Assist OR staff in revising instrument kits.
• Act as resource for instrument identification and kit assembly.
• Manage loaner instrumentation process and verify documentation.
• Supervise department activities in the absence of the manager.
