Job summary

rossorecruiting seeks an experienced I&C Manager in Indiana to own instrumentation and controls for the plant, leading technicians and supporting staff through smart maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing.

You will oversee calibration, maintain steam, electrical, boiler, and environmental systems, partner with Area Managers, Operations, and Union teams, and drive safety, budgeting, and data-driven decisions using plant historians.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in I&C with supervisory/leadership experience.
• Background in Industrial Energy, Power Generation, or Utility settings.
• Hands-on PLC/DCS expertise with Rockwell/AB, Modicon; ControlLogix, Bailey Infi-90.
• Strong instrumentation knowledge (VFDs, transmitters, sensors).
• Proven troubleshooting skills across electrical, electronic, and pneumatic controls.
• Familiarity with steam turbines, boilers, and water treatment systems.
• CMMS experience, Maximo or similar.
• Able to work in an industrial plant setting (climbing, lifting up to 80 lbs, confined spaces).

About the Role
