Wake Technical Community College is seeking a passionate and experienced Welding Faculty member to join our dynamic team. As a leader in skilled trades education, we are committed to creating a program that is industry-aligned. This position is responsible for teaching assigned classes and laboratories in day and/or evening according to course requirements, mentoring students in our state-of-the-art welding labs, contributing to curriculum development, and fostering an environment where students gain hands-on expertise, confidence, and the skills needed for long-term success in the field. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential job functions satisfactorily. Diploma in Welding, Metal Working, Metal Fabrication or related field in addition to appropriately related work experiences in the field such as a minimum of two years of industry welding experience, a combination of welding and related instructional experience, or professional licensure and certifications related to the teaching assignment.

Associate degree in Welding or related field and demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline with at least one year of experience in the Welding industry or at least one year of combined welding and related instructional experience required
Must be able to pass Wake Tech's Welding qualification process
