Surgical Services Faculty are responsible for teaching coursesas assigned, student advising, college service, professionaldevelopment and promotion of collegial atmosphere. Faculty areexpected to support the institution’s mission and vision and abideby the Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies. Faculty reportdirectly to program managers and department chairs withintheirrespective departments and divisions.
This position will monitor students in the clinical areas, teachtheory in classroom, and demonstrate clinical skills in thesimulation laboratory. Additional responsibilities includeassessing courses, serving on college committees, participating inextracurricular activities, community service, and professionaldevelopment. Faculty may be required to teach evenings and weekendsas well as on-line, dual enrollment, and service learningcourses.
Certifications/License Required: CertifiedSurgical Technologist
