Job summary

Built by Me is a STEM enrichment company offering hands-on, project-based classes and workshops for children in grades 1-8. We seek energetic instructors for after-school and weekend sessions to foster creativity, collaboration, and a love of technology.

If you enjoy STEM and working with kids, this is a great way to gain practical experience while helping kids grow as creators. Instructors will lead small groups (no more than 10 students) in a dynamic, supportive environment and can expect

Qualifications

• Experience working with kids.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic understanding of technology.
• Availability on weekdays 4-7 pm and Saturdays 9 am-12 pm.
• Energetic, dependable, friendly and flexible.
• Have a great design sensibility and a driven work ethic.

Built by Me is a STEM enrichment company. We offer a variety of STEM classes and workshops to children in grades 1 - 8. Our goal is to teach kids to use technology to create and explore. All of our programs are interactive, collaborative, hands-on, project-based, and focused on using technology to create and learn new skills while having fun!

Qualifications

• Experience working with kids
• Driver's License and reliable transportation is a plus (will pay for mileage)
• Availability on weekdays 4-7 pm and Saturdays 9 am-12 pm
• Interest in robotics, coding, math, design, communications, video, music, and art
• High emotional intelligence and a creative mind with a great design sensibility, and a driven work ethic
