Job Status:Full Time- In Person

Position Summary

The Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, supporting student success, maintaining compliance with accreditation standards, and contributing to curriculum development and program growth.

Key Responsibilities
Teaching
  • Teach assigned courses and provide student tutoring.
  • Identify and support at-risk students through the Early Intervention System.
  • Conduct clinical/work-site visits as appropriate.
  • Maintain daily attendance records.
  • Submit mid-term and final grades according to college requirements.
  • Recommend instructional materials and textbooks.
  • Stay current with industry trends and evidence-based practices.
  • Develop assignments that support course learning outcomes.
  • Create hands-on learning experiences reflective of real-world practice.
  • Review and update curriculum as needed.
  • Participate in special projects assigned by the Program Director.
Student Support
  • Maintain regular office hours for student advising and consultation.
  • Participate in student retention initiatives.
Assessment & Accreditation
  • Assess student learning outcomes in accordance with established assessment plans.
  • Support CAAHEP accreditation, compliance, and institutional effectiveness initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and ethical practices.
  • Participate in accreditation reviews and Middle States activities as needed.
  • Contribute to the achievement of the College's strategic goals.
Professional Representation
  • Represent the College professionally in public settings.
  • Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and external partners.
Qualifications
