Job Title: Parenting Initiatives Facilitator Reports To: Parenting Student Success Coach (PSC) Position Type: Part-Time (Grant-Funded, Temporary) Hybrid, 24 hrs/week
Position Summary

The Parenting Initiatives Facilitator (PIF) plays a key role in supporting the implementation of the Parenting Student Support (PSS) Program under the Parent Pathways Grant. This position focuses on coordinating services, strengthening access to resources, and supporting parenting students in navigating barriers related to childcare, housing stability, and basic needs.

Working closely with the Parenting Student Success Coach (PSSC), the PIF helps ensure parenting students remain enrolled, supported, and on track to complete their academic programs.

Key Responsibilities
Program Coordination & Implementation
  • Design and implement the new Parenting Student Housing Stability Program Webinars
  • Design and implement and facilitate new P.I.T. Pop-In Childcare Initiative.
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of Parent Pathways initiatives, including:
    • Parenting Student Housing Stability Program (workshops, referrals, follow-ups)
    • PIT Pop-In Childcare program (scheduling, vendor coordination and suitability assessment, student access.)
  • Schedule and support workshops on housing literacy, financial readiness, and parenting support topics
  • Assist with planning and execution of parenting student events and outreach activities
  • Coordinate logistics with licensed childcare providers for on-campus services
  • Support relationships with community partners (e.g., housing agencies, family support organizations)
  • Assist in managing service schedules, contracts, and communication with providers
Data Tracking & Reporting
  • Track student participation, service utilization, and program outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in institutional systems (e.g., Anthology)
  • Assist with data collection for grant reporting and program evaluation
  • Support development of basic reports and dashboards as needed
  • Conduct program pre-and-post programming assessments
Qualifications and Key Skills
  • Working knowledge of Student Information Systems (e.g., Anthology)
  • Proficiency in LMS platforms to support course delivery and student engagement (e.g. Canvas)
  • Experience designing and delivering workshops, webinars, or student programs
  • Experience working with historically underrepresented or first-generation populations
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and facilitate educational programming
  • Experience creating engaging virtual and in-person learning experiences
  • Proven ability to plan, implement, and assess programs or events
  • Highly organized with strong time management and communication abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional experience preferred
