Job Summary

Classroom Instructor

Job Duties

• Teach welding courses to students in a classroom setting.

• Prepare instructional materials and lesson plans.

• Assess student progress and provide feedback.

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Welding or Journeyman Welder.
• American Welding Society (AWS) Welding Certification.
• Two (2) years work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Welding Technology or related area.
• Five (5) years work experience.
• Two (2) years teaching experience.

Physical Requirements

Language Skills • Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents. • Ability to respond to sensitive inquiries or complaints. • Ability to write speeches and articles with innovative style. • Ability to deliver effective and persuasive speeches to top management and public groups.
