Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active NC cosmetology license and teaching/instructor license (cosmetology or natural hair care).

• Ability to deliver instruction in multiple learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Instructs courses within the assigned program area and models effective teaching techniques.
• Monitors course offerings and recommends updating materials to stay current.
• Prepares attendance, grade records, and course files; handles textbook requests.
• Assists in planning class schedules for student convenience and accuracy.
• Ensures instructional facilities are safe and properly used.
• Designs training programs to meet organizational needs.
