Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned barbering courses in accordance with approved outlines and state board requirements.
• Develop, implement, and update a comprehensive barbering curriculum aligned with state board competencies.
• Prepare students for successful completion of the North Carolina State Board Examination (theory and practical).
• Organize practical skill evaluations to assess competency mastery and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain sanitation, safety, and infection control procedures per NC Board rules.
• Maintain attendance, clock hours, and academic documentation per institutional policies.
• Support recruitment, retention, and program growth initiatives.
