Job summary

Wake Technical Community College is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to teach Cosmetology within Workforce Continuing Education Services. Courses focus on theory and clinical instruction, with supervision by the Instructor/Director and a focus on safe, sanitary practices.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of technology and software including computers and Moodle.

Responsibilities

• Instructs and guides the class in theory and clinical instruction.
• Prepares thoroughly for each instructional hour.
• Maintains a safe and sanitary environment for cosmetology and related sciences.
• Guides students on clinic floor, counseling students, and resolving issues.
• Oversees daily operations with the Instructor/Director.
• Maintains accurate records of student work and attendance.
• Coordinates reporting of student hours and student projects.
• Designs curriculum and schedules of instruction.
• Maintains regular office hours and keeps courses up-to-date.
