Management & Training Corporation (MTC) operates the Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center in Reno, NV.

The role focuses on career technical training instruction per approved curricula and providing students with training and guidance to help achieve technical training goals under government and management directives.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Three years of working in a medical office as a billing and coding specialist, patient care technician, or medical administrative assistant or phlebotomy technician
• Ability to teach students
• Obtain Medical Administrative Assistant Certification within 90 days of hire
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Provide students with direction, instruction, and assistance in designated areas of instruction.
• Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits.
• Develop and prepare lessons in accordance with approved curriculum guidelines, recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials.
• Review and audit all assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and effectiveness of delivery of services to students. Prepare related reports.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe training environment.
• Participate in student assessment panels, perform required documentation and evaluation using CIS (Center Information System) and other documentation systems.

What you will be doing

You’ll be responsible for the career technical training instruction per approved curricula. Providing students with training and basic guidance and direction to help students achieve their technical training goals with government and management directives.
