Train America seeks a part-time instructor to lead bootcamps in HVACR, electrical, plumbing, and maintenance trades. Courses run a few times per year, including Saturdays and weeknights, at training centers.
Instructors are expected to engage students, run simulations, and supervise lab activities. A minimum of 5 years in a relevant trades field, and a valid Journeyman/Master license with EPA 608 credential, are required.
Earn more and give back as a part-time instructor doing a few courses per year: 1 Saturday + 5 Weeknights = 1 Course.
Train America employs journeyman and master level tradespeople as Instructors (we call them Guides) to train the next generation of HVACR, electrical, plumbing and maintenance technicians at our training centers embedded at distribution partner locations.

Compensation
Hourly pay between $40 - 50 per hour depending on experience and credentials.
