Lamar Institute of Technology is seeking an Electric Technology instructor to deliver effective learning experiences. The Electrical Technology instructor responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing instruction for students enrolled in Electrical Technology courses (along with other related courses and topics) in the Technology department, including dual credit high school students. This individual is also responsible for maintaining office hours, teaching extended day classes, and hybrid/online courses, as required, both on campus and at alternate locations. This individual helps coordinate and attend advisory committee meetings, attends workshops, seminars, and conferences to upgrade teaching skills, assists in the development of curriculum as needed, and maintains program computer labs. All LIT faculty are responsible for recruitment and retention as part of achieving the Institute’s Shared Vision of Growth and Excellence.
