Job summary

The University of North Florida Board of Trustees seeks an Instructor for the Department of Construction Management. This 12-month, non-tenure position involves teaching a 4/4 load, delivering course materials, and contributing to departmental service under the supervision of the Department Chair.

Required is a Master’s degree in CM or closely related field, with evidence of undergraduate teaching ability, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Master’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Strong ability to instruct and engage undergraduate students in construction management.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in construction management (including computer applications, general CM, and capstone projects).
• Prepare and deliver course materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Maintain course records and grades.
• Participate in departmental service activities.

Supervision Exercised: None.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of college‑level teaching experience in relevant subjects.
• Minimum of five years of industry experience in construction management.
