Management & Training Corporation in New Orleans, LA, is seeking staff to coordinate and implement the career preparation period program for new students, ensuring compliance with government and management directives.

You will develop lessons, tailor training plans, conduct pre-arrival contacts, and support employability activities to help students succeed. This role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional development within the New Orleans Job Corps Center.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and two years related experience.
• Direct related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsabilités

• Develop, prepare, and deliver career preparation lessons; use a variety of teaching strategies to meet student learning needs.
• Recommend an appropriate training program for each assigned student, using background files, personal interviews, tests, and a variety of other assessment tools.
• Conduct pre-arrival contacts with potential enrollees; prepare and mail pre-arrival and safe arrival letters on a timely basis, and coordinate arrival activities with other center departments.
• Participate in student employability programs and activities.

What you will be doing
