Job summary

Ingham ISD is seeking an instructor for Business and Risk Management to deliver a comprehensive program that prepares students for careers and leadership in the Insurance industry.

Under administrator direction, you will recruit students, provide high-quality classroom and lab instruction, help learners select goals, and teach various levels of business and risk management; benefits include multiple health plans, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for CIP 52.1701 Certification.
• 4,000 hours of recent and relevant insurance experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Insurance/Risk Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit students for the Wilson Talent Center programs.
• Provide high quality instruction/lessons in classroom and lab settings related to insurance.
• Assist students in selecting training goals.
• Instruct students in various levels of business and risk management.

Schedule: 37 weeks, 5 days/week, 7 hours/day

About The Role

Under the direction of the administrator, the Business and Risk Management Instructor will provide a comprehensive and high quality program of study which prepares students for a career, future learning, and leadership in Business and Risk Management.

• Assist in recruitment of students for the Wilson Talent Center programs.
• Provide high quality instruction/lessons in classroom and lab settings that helps students develop the skills, knowledge, and work habits required for employment and future learning in the Insurance industry.
• Assist students to select appropriate training goals.
• Instruct students in various levels of business and risk management.

About You

• Possess or eligible for Career Technical Education Certification in Insurance. (CIP 52.1701)
• 4000 hours of recent and relevant work experience in the Insurance career field.
• Extensive knowledge of the Insurance industry and all related job titles.
• Bachelor's Degree in Insurance/Risk Management or related field preferred.
