Position Title: Learning and Communications Specialist

Location: Onsite – Moline, IL

Pay Rate: $29/hour

Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Visa Sponsorship: Not available now or in the near future

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver training programs for John Deere employees, channel partners, and customers, focusing on product features, applications, system technologies, and professional skills.
Adapt and develop training content and materials for various audiences, including marketing, technical, management, and sales.
Construct and maintain training aids, simulations, classroom exercises, and practice activities.
Administer training events, including enrollment, rosters, and evaluations, and share outcomes with relevant stakeholders.
Evaluate training effectiveness during and after delivery, updating materials and methods as needed.
Conduct self-directed research to enhance subject matter expertise and instructional delivery.
Partner with Engineering, Product, and Communications teams to ensure timely and relevant training content.
Provide support and guidance to internal teams and external partners regarding training content and delivery.
Develop and execute communication plans to inform key audiences about projects, events, and business changes.
Create strategic content using various media formats such as video, design, and print to enhance understanding and engagement.

Skills and Qualifications

Strong grammar, persuasive writing, and content development skills.
Knowledge of educational theory, curriculum development, and instructional best practices.
Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform, Office 365; familiarity with Copilot is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
