Job summary

Gateway-Community-Service-Board in Brunswick, GA is seeking an assistant to an instructor/teacher to deliver educational and functional training to consumers. You will prepare materials, maintain a safe learning environment, and help with meals, transportation, and activities as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid Georgia driver’s license and be at least 21.

• Ability to observe and monitor residents’ behavior.

Job Summary: Under close supervision, assists an instructor/teacher with providing comprehensive educational, functional training and/or program to consumers/students. Prepares instructional materials and maintains order and cleanliness in the learning environment. Uses observational skills to remain aware of changes in the behavior and physical condition of consumers/students. May assist with meal preparation, field trips, transportation and other activities.
