Job summary

KIPP Atlanta Schools seeks an Instructional Technology Specialist to architect the integration of digital tools across the academic program. Reporting to the Director of Secondary Learning and Innovation, you will partner with content-area leads to enhance cognitive lift and scholar achievement, piloting modernized instructional methods including Generative AI.

You will ensure technology serves pedagogy, with rigorous instructional oversight and data-driven decision making to improve CCRPI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Valid Georgia Teaching or Service Certificate (Level 4 or higher).
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years of classroom teaching with impact.
• Experience in instructional coaching and/or school‑based leadership.
• Strong data-driven instruction and standards-aligned planning knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning & Execution: rollout of long-term technology initiatives aligned with multi-year roadmaps.
• Lead innovation projects from planning to implementation across campuses; manage resources.
• Ensure digital resources align with regional vision and CCRPI expectations.
• Provide side‑by‑side coaching to build educator confidence using digital tools.
• Conduct classroom observations to ensure tools enhance cognitive thinking and engagement.
• Develop tools to observe and evaluate effective technology use by staff.
• Lead implementation of AI tools with emphasis on instructional oversight and integrity.
• Analyze usage data and student performance to guide instructional adjustments.
• Collaborate with IT, data teams, and vendors to achieve organizational objectives.
