Job summary

Gwinnett County Public Schools seeks a visionary Education Leader to direct K-12 CS, AI, and future readiness programs. You will oversee AKS curriculum alignment, build vertical progression from K-12, and engage stakeholders to drive district-wide instructional improvement.

Collaboration with principals, ASTs, and departments is essential to maximize student outcomes. Applicants should hold required Georgia leadership certification with strong leadership and development experience in CS/AI

Qualifications

• 5 years of successful teaching experience with two years in an instructional leadership role.
• Georgia Educators Certificate in Educational Leadership or Support Personnel License required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the development, revision, implementation, and continuous quality improvement of a comprehensive and cohesive K-12 programs including K-12 vertical progression in computer science, artificial intelligence, and future readiness in the context of all AKS curriculum in GCPS.
• Oversee the review and development of the AKS curriculum in CS, AI, and future readiness programs through stakeholder engagement.
• Lead the development and implementation of long-term goals to meet instructional needs of GCPS.
• Develop and provide resources to schools and teachers for best instructional strategies in CS/AI/future readiness.
• Coordinate with other departments to align CS/AI/future readiness with district goals.
• Develop and manage professional development for teachers and administrators in CS/AI/future readiness.
