Job summary

KIPP Atlanta Schools is seeking an Instructional Technology Specialist to lead the integration of digital tools across secondary curriculum. You will collaborate with content-area leads, coach teachers, and pilot AI-powered instructional methods while ensuring rigorous pedagogy and scholar achievement.

Reporting to the Director of Secondary Learning and Innovation, you will guide implementation across campuses, analyze usage data, and support compliance with academic standards and CCRPI metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field.
• Valid Georgia Teaching or Service Certificate (Level 4 or higher).
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years of classroom teaching with demonstrated impact (Math and/or Literacy).
• Experience in instructional coaching and/or school-based leadership.
• Demonstrated skill with data-driven instruction, progress monitoring, and translating data into adult action.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning and execution of long-term technology initiatives across campuses.
• Lead pilot studies of AI and digital learning platforms with measurable impact on scholar outcomes.
• Provide side-by-side coaching, modeling, and co-teaching to build educator confidence with digital tools.
• Develop tools and look-fors to observe and evaluate technology-enabled instruction.
• Analyze usage data and scholar performance to guide instructional adjustments.
• Lead professional development on technology integration and digital citizenship.
• Collaborate with IT, data teams, and vendors to achieve organizational objectives.
