Manchester University in Fort Wayne, IN, is seeking a Technology Support Specialist who is passionate about helping faculty succeed and enhancing the student learning experience through technology.

This role supports Canvas and instructional technologies, provides training and technical guidance to faculty and staff, and collaborates with IT and campus partners to improve teaching effectiveness, accessibility, and student engagement.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Educational Technology, Information Technology, Instructional Design, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of professional experience supporting instructional technology or related area in higher education.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (UDL, WCAG) preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with learning management systems (Canvas, Blackboard) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and support Canvas LMS and related instructional technology platforms.
• Provide training, consultation, and technical support to faculty and staff.
• Support learning technology integrations (LTIs) and related systems.
• Collaborate with faculty and campus partners to enhance teaching effectiveness and student engagement.
• Troubleshoot technology issues and provide practical, user-friendly solutions.
• Assist with evaluation and support of emerging educational technologies, including AI tools.
• Develop and improve faculty training materials, resources, and support processes.
• Support accessibility and quality standards in digital learning environments.
• Partner with IT staff, vendors, and stakeholders to support instructional technology initiatives.
