Job summary

Amentum is seeking an instructional designer to design, develop, and revise interactive eLearning modules, ensuring accuracy and alignment with training requirements. You will collaborate with SMEs and multimedia teams to produce courseware, storyboards, and assessment materials.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in a related field and 2+ years of experience; TS/SCI clearance is preferred where applicable. This position offers growth within a government-linked learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Systems Design or related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Or an Associate's degree (or 18 sem hrs) with at least 4 years of related experience.
• Alternatively, a high school diploma with at least 6 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide input for learning objects for interactive eLearning solutions (HTML5, Captivate, Edge or equivalents).
• Complete data entry and technical writing activities.
• Develop and maintain design documents and storyboards using templates and style guides.
• Draft and update formative knowledge checks aligned to objectives.
• Support packaging and validation of courseware artifacts (e.g., SCORM) with LMS inputs.
• Apply Section 508/WCAG accessibility practices and document issues for remediation.
