Job summary

Amentum is seeking an instructional designer to design, develop, and revise complex eLearning modules for government programs. You will convert materials into interactive courseware, collaborate with SMEs and multimedia designers, and maintain audit-ready artifacts in approved repositories.

Responsibilities include creating learning objects (HTML5, Captivate, Edge), drafting knowledge checks, and ensuring accessibility (Section 508/WCAG).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of instructional design experience
• Associate degree with 4+ years of relevant experience
• High school diploma with 6+ years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Provide input for learning objects for interactive eLearning solutions (HTML5, Captivate, Edge, or government-approved equivalents)
• Complete data entry and technical writing activities
• Develop and maintain design documents and storyboards using government templates and SME input
• Draft formative knowledge checks aligned to learning objectives and coordinate assessments
• Support packaging and validation of courseware artifacts in required formats (e.g., SCORM)
• Apply basic accessibility practices (Section 508/WCAG) and document issues for remediation
