Armison Tech – Instructional Designer

Location: Chantilly, VA (on‑site client environment)

Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph

Compensation: Competitive with excellent benefits

In this role you will be part of a larger team of project managers and technical SMEs, collaborating to plan, lead and develop training for mission‑critical topics for our customer.

Basic Qualifications

• Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance
• Demonstrated experience developing and refining curriculum and training courses for adult learners on non‑technical subjects
• A bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field (additional experience may substitute for a degree)
• Experience creating courses that engage, motivate, and are learner‑centered, regardless of modality (face‑to‑face, online, or blended) or technical platform
• Experience utilizing ADDIE or SAM or other similar instructional design models
• Demonstrated experience selecting and developing instructional strategies that create conditions for learners to achieve their objectives and the customer’s objectives at large
• Experience teaching subject matters pertinent to the customer’s domains
• DESIRED: ATD Instructional Design Certificate
• DESIRED: Certified Instructional Designer/Developer (CIDD) or an Articulate Storyline Certification
• DESIRED: Certified Professional in Learning Development (CPLP) or Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD)
