Job summary

i3 is seeking an Instructional Systems Designer (Associate to Senior) to develop and implement IMI training using ADDIE. The role involves analysis, design, development, and evaluation of learning content aligned to DoD tasks, with opportunities across Huntsville, AL or Orlando, FL offices.

The ideal candidate has DoD ISD experience, strong communication skills, and is a U.S. citizen with an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design and Technology, Education; experience may substitute for degree.
• Multiple levels available: Associate, Mid, Senior ISD with DoD ISD experience.
• Experience developing courseware with multimedia tools (Captivate/Storyline).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
• Experience with DoD/Military environments.
• U.S. Citizenship required and Active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Attend data collection meetings to capture required data.
• Research instructional design theories and ADDIE framework.
• Collaborate with SME to extract instructional content for objectives.
• Develop IMI solutions and courseware to support learning objectives.
• Create objectives, evaluations, handbooks, and lesson plans.
• Coordinate with ISDs, PM, and development team to meet quality and schedule.
• Ensure all outputs meet requirements and quality standards.
• Organize course content per instructional design plans.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design and Technology, Education

Completion of Military Basic Instructor Course

Experience developing courseware with Multimedia Learning Tools

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Skilled in Microsoft Office 365 Suite

Experience working with DoD/Military

U.S. Citizenship

Active Secret level security clearance
