Job summary

Metris Global is seeking an Instructional Systems Designer to lead design and development of training content for Coast Guard-related programs at the Camp Lejeune site. You will create design documents, storyboards, assessments, and pilot plans in a collaborative, on-site team environment.

Role requires ISD proficiency, applicable master’s degree or equivalent experience, and ability to work with government stakeholders and contract teams. Security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in instructional design or education with a technology focus.
• Minimum five years of related experience may substitute for the degree.
• Two+ years using ISD processes to develop courses and training interventions.
• Proficient with Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design documents per USCG SOPs and task orders.
• Create storyboards and outlines for content development.
• Select delivery methods and media to support performance testing.
• Structure tests and practical exercises to demonstrate learning.
• Perform formative and summative evaluations, including pilots.
• Revise working versions based on feedback and pilot data.
• Develop pilot plans and final reporting for training products.
• Participate in reviews and ensure SOP compliance.
• Collaborate with government and contract teams; perform other duties as assigned.
